why did they go out and get Robidas?
Tallinder is a old version of Gunnarson. slower, older version of a soft guy.
why did they go and trade Gunnarson for Polak.
perhaps - just perhaps because they had enough softish left hand defensemen already.... so lets bring in another guy who's slowing down (brilliant) and can show the "young guys" how to slow down and take it easy?

I doubt it happens, they bring in guys for tryouts and such like this every season
likely just trying to motivate guys to step it up and put a fire under their ass |

Watched some of the scrimmages. Thought Kadri looked like the best player every time he was on the ice. Kessel and Nylander look sick together. Also liked what I was hearing about Granberg. Leivo looked real good in the rookie tournament and didn't look out of place in the scrimmages. Holland as well. Not enough spots for these young guys to make the squad tho. Gunna be neat to see how they put the roster together. Oh and Reimer sucks. |
